Why hire a career guides?

Do you feel like you forgot everything you knew? Do you feel like others know more than me? Are you an EAD mom? Or waiting for your Employment Authorization Document? You have work-permit & looking for a job? Been at home for a few years? Not sure which career to choose? Is everyone suggesting getting into IT or Salesforce?

These are all great points to keep in mind when considering your career path and working with a career coach.

it can be overwhelming and confusing to navigate the job market, especially when you have a career gap or are unsure about your career path. It is normal to feel like others know more than you or that you have forgotten everything you knew, but it’s important to remember that everyone has different experiences and knowledge, and you have unique strengths and skills that you can bring to the table.

How does it work?

  • We have a list of career guides based on specialization (IT, HR, Finance, Marketing etc.)
  • Select the career giude you would like to book a 30-45 minute consultation with your second consultation will be automatically for the next week or you can select the time as well
  • Select the time and day of consultation to get an invite
  • Along with the invite, you will get instructions to provide information regarding your career history, current situation and careers you want to get into.
  • Be sure to tell your career counselor about any previous positions you’ve held and what you enjoyed or did not enjoy about them
  • The more information your counselor has, the better your overall career assessment will be.
  • Fill and send the form back to us
  1. Take some time to think about your career goals and what you hope to gain from the consultation. This will help you provide your career coach with a clear picture of your current situation and what you’re looking for in terms of career guidance.
  2. Be honest and open about your career history, including any challenges or gaps in employment. Your career coach is there to help you, and the more information they have, the better they can assist you.
  3. Come prepared with specific questions or areas of concern you would like to address during the consultation. This will help you make the most of your time with the career coach and ensure that you get the information you need.
  4. Be open to feedback and suggestions from your career coach. They are there to help guide you and provide you with valuable insight based on their experience and expertise.

What will you get?

The career coach will ask you a series of questions to understand your background, skills, strengths, weaknesses and passions

The coach will take notes and provide you with powerful career information like –

  • What areas of work are best suited for you
  • What skills you already have and tips on using them
  • What skills you do not have and tips on how to learn or grow those skills
  • You get a report of your strength, weakness, skills and passion
  • You get helpful content on starting career in US
  • Typical turnaround time to get the report is 5-7 business day

My name is Molly Gray, and I am thrilled to offer both career coaching and resume writing services. My background is in corporate and field compensation, which involves analyzing and knowing the ins and outs of all jobs that exist in the majority of companies. I have worked in various industries in both the public and private sector, including but not limited to tech, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, hospitality, finance, and food and beverage.

I am a Certified Compensation Professional, and I also have an MBA with a concentration in HR Management. I minored in Global Studies and Cultural Geography in college, and I have an immense passion for learning about other cultures and immersing myself in them. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to study abroad three times in college and volunteer abroad the summer after I graduated. I also make it a priority to teach my eleven-year-old son about other cultures, who I have brought with me to visit seven countries. Because of my background in HR and compensation, I know about typical and atypical career paths an individual may take based on their previous experiences and skills.
